little squeezy bugPoor little Squeegy Bug; he feels so alone in the big bug world. Buzzer the Bumblebee flies by and inspires Squeegy.

He wants to be a bumblebee. He sets out on his quest to find his silver, shiny wings and big stinger. Then, he’ll be a bumblebee too!

Along the journey to high in the sky, in search of his wings and stinger, he meets friends that help him. Creepy the Caterpillar and Haunchy the Spider help Squeegy Bug discover his true calling, and it is not to carry a big stinger.

Squeegy Bug finds his name and his true bug self; he’s Squeegy the Firefly, the Lamplighter of the Sky!

The delightful graphics and whimsical illustrations are a perfect match for this heartwarming bug story. I especially enjoy how some of the text wraps around the picture as part of the artwork. This is a magnificent book for any young child’s library.
